I wonder if there will be a new HUD secretary, like Andrew Cuomo, HUD head 1997-2001, who brags about forcing Fannie and Freddie to buy subprime mortgages like Cuomo did. 

(b) Due and Payable with Secretary Approval.

If you decide to make all the paperwork a good start might be to visit the web of the Secretary of State in California ( http://www.sos.ca.gov/).

This was an unpublished number that was only listed with our Secretary of State when we registered our LLC -- we did not even have this number on our business cards. 

If it is listed under a business entity you can sometimes find who the owner is by looking it up on the secretary of state website.

******Here's the most interesting point I've read: "Any other service that the Secretary of Economic Development and Commerce determines, after consulting with the Secretary of the Treasury, that should qualify as an eligible export service, based on factors such as jobs to be created, payroll generated and proposed investment in Puerto Rico."

The name we originally picked was too similar to another LLC so I ended up calling the Texas Secretary of State phone number and asking them if the new slightly edited name would work and it made it much easier.

Ohio companies typically are, but in the case of out of state LLCs the owners often neglect to register them with the Ohio Secretary of State and the companies will not be granted access to the courts until they do so.
