@Marc Rice you are correct properties are pretty cheap here but they can be in horrible shape.

You need RICE before you invest in property.R  Reserves--6 months of expenses as in Emergency Fund in Bank I  Income--as in solid job for which you can make monthly payments and qualify for loanC Credit as in GOOD credit for which you can qualify and get best rates for a mortgage loan.
