Chapter Seven of the VA Lender’s Handbook clearly states:“If a property is to be owned by two or more eligible Veterans, it may consist of four family units and one business unit, plus one additional unit for each Veteran participating in the ownership”.

This ruling may be helpful in allowing more alternative lending institutions participating in the housing market.

I take it to mean you have someone willing to invest money into an entity you own as an unsecured note at 5% interest plus a cash flow participation on property you purchase?
