Whoever is teaching this should have their license revoked... up there with some of the worst counselling I've ever heard.

I don’t know why we didn’t get that vital piece of info in our initial meeting.So my wife and I are extremely relieved .She says she will stay on as a courtesy and if things come up it will just be an “ hourly “ rate for emergency type situations or basic boots on the ground necessities.We really like her enthusiasm and positivity and she is great at communicating and seems  sincerely empathetic to our situation.

Also be sure to check reviews and L&I to make sure they are licensed and bonded for the work you are having quoted.John  

They can definitely tell you what you need to know legally and licensing wise in NJ/NY as there are some restrictions in certain states and I think NJ is one of them.

Or that the remodel wasn't performed by a licensed professional. 

She is meeting on Wednesday to take the listing and find her a new home ( probably one of mine though LOL)    But that is what I see the main difference in wholesaling without a license and licensed agents who do it for a living. 

I think getting your real estate license is not required for investing in real estate, but is very helpful.

Maybe you hate doing the handy work but have a knack for analyzing deals and end up getting your real estate license to help other investors.

NYC is a very tough place to use a real estate license because it doesn't operate like other markets.
