I inherited tenants on one side.

Anyone remember the podcast from a couple of years ago where the guest talked about how he goes about raising rents when he inherits tenants who are paying well below market valueHe talked about making up a folder of his expenses as well rental comps and meeting with the tenants and having a two-way conversation about where to set the rent. 

You'll naturally meet  people who want to get rid of their headache, I mean house, that they inherited. 

I recently got married and we will be coming into some inheritance within a few months.

Inheriting a tenant comes with risks, but if they're good tenants, that's great! 

Lessening the house hack strategy and rent to buy agreements.

We are inheriting tenants in the upstairs apartment and need to present them with a fresh lease. 

I will be inheriting a 3 unit property in Wheat Ridge that I current live in the main house.

It is not the tenants, but friends of a inherited bum tenant.  

I'm not saying to avoid debt, I'm saying once you create your empire the best thing to do is start lessening debt.
