I have done a notice to all beneficiaries, I did a interim disbursement to beneficiaries in Nov,  and a year end accounting with final disbursement to the beneficiaries that reflected end of their rights as of end of 2016.  

Expect continued experimentation and innovation with fees and business models (IMO a good thing), though that does put some extra burden on the investor to parse and understand the particulars before proceeding.

This is all very new but we are playing in this arena and have actually started a project with innovational Funding that only raises money from accredited investors through your more typical 506(c).
