It's very common for the temperature to be 10-20 degrees below freezing in Colorado at night in the winter.

I was concerned about the freezing temp in Philadelphia area and how it will affect the settling of the cement.

If you freeze up you will lose the battle.The problem I see with all these martial arts and self defense classes is this touchy feely stuff.

They could then freeze or close the line.So if you are looking into following option #4 consider checking with the bank.

We've only been here about 3 months, liking it so far but I feel like it was 103 degrees last month and now I'm freezing :)

Heaving and cracking of most foundations can be due to 1) movement of the land and house, or 2) water that freezes into the spaces around the foundation. 

I find it is easier to charge the adequate rent and just pay the heat as the landlord and know the place is never going to freeze when someone goes on vacation. 

During the freeze a water pipe burst...the tenant does not have renter insurance and now decides to sue me.
