After switching hands a few times over the years, the house at 2830 Park Street was purchased by the Florida Cabinet using what’s called the Internal Improvement Trust Fund.In 1982 the state Department of Corrections took control of the house and used it for what’s called a Women’s Adjustment Center — a sort of halfway house for female inmates with short sentences.Now, a Department of Environmental Protection spokesman said his agency is in charge of selling it off, along with other excess state properties.

So initially we would take the large garage that was already on the property and demolish it, then we would take the same footprint and just slide it over to use it as an addition on the cottage.

No Solar stuff, No Ham Radio antennas, No Flag poles, etc...If it were me, (to be tactful) I'd tell them it seemed like a good idea but my attorney advised against it, and leave it at that.That way you are not getting in to any kind  of perceived Political or environmental disagreement with them, and you remain the innocent middle man.Just my 2 cents.Good Luck!

I’d suggest the landlord have an environmental testing company come in and if mold is found that they file an insurance claim.
