Without knowing all of your specifics, I'd say that it's only worth holding on to if you can reasonably expect to have some really good appreciation in the near future (like 5 yrs)....Or, in the case where it would run well as a vacation rental, you could switch the usage, maybe?

So I would say people that bought more speculative or non credit tenants run into a lot more cases of properties going dark.A large franchisee has a higher chance of default than a national investment grade credit tenant.

I only have one that seemed to fail to launch.What I do get more is I offer to run a newbie through a transaction and/or show them the work in progress and I get either no show or barely show.
