As far as doing out of state investing, and I'm sure I've said this before, but it is no way an endorsement for your company, just personal opinion based on relationship, knowledge & reputation of you and your family based on business I've done in the past with one of your family members, if I wanted to stop pursuing real estate, but continue to collect rent, I'd sell everything I have and just give you guys my money.

It had not been endorsed, and was deposited to a bank where we don't have an account.

It has to be endorsed by me AND the bank before the check is valid.My mortgage broker at the local community bank said they will send their inspectors to the property after all the work has been done, and if it passes their inspection, they'll sign off on the check as well.

I am not endorsing this type of activity, but in certain areas and with certain tenants in certain types of properties, this is simply reality.  

the only one that does it all in house these days is vertucci the others with TV shows are all just like any other celeb who is making endorsements..

I've actually spoken to a handful of different attorneys who specialize in asset protection, and tax and estate planning (one of whom is a business partner of mine) and they endorse the 2 LLC method, in addition to placing the assets into trusts before putting them into the LLC's.

(not endorsing them but can cite their merits) It enables a Landlord to get a just & fair snapshot of the creditworthiness of a potential tenant.

If you still use it as a secondary home, then you need a Homeowner insurance plus a STR endorsement (or "occasional rental").If it's used only as STR, then you need a STR insurance.READ THIS POST.
