Got told by nebors, tenants (tenant) were arrested for drug possession.( I am beyond speechless)   I called police department to find out more information on it, the only thing they were able to give me is the wife was arrested for sure. along with few other ones in the house.

I have had people thinking since I am a cash buyer that I was going to bring a big bag of cash and we were gonna sit around and count it out like we were doing a drug deal.

I would say they have gone to the extreme now.https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/leg...It should be noted the govenment charges people with organized crime and drug dealing if they knowingly rent property for drug dealing or manufacturing.

Drug abuse in this city is a growing problem and I don't really see a need for this type of housing disappearing any time soon. 

Drug dealing 4 times , assault and battery 2 times , domestic violence 4 times , IRS lien over 10K ,  failure to pay child support 10 times , and only 1 Failure to pay rent .  

Many who do this business remotely have developed some solid systems in place that alleviate the need for a physical presence, along with some "boots on the ground" as well.

I agree with the previous poster.Also, to alleviate this concern with his next tenant, I suggest your FiL contract to begin service with the garbage collection company, increase the rent by the amount of that cost, and then market the house as "comes with garbage collection!"

Death, divorce, disinterest, drug use, default....woo-hoo!

What problems are people having investing in Baltimore and what can you do to alleviate them? 

(vandalism and destruction vs drug dealing and prostitution)Is someone currently living there?
