Doesn't someone still need to administer the process and make sure all documents are in place, disclosures, any other component, work with the title company, etc.

I’ve administered a lot a lot of claims for my clients over the years.

They set up IRA/401k llcs with checkbook control.This allows you to open up an account in IRA/401k llcs name.Then you administer the funds not them.This being the case it is on you to make sure, you are in compliance.I strongly recommend lending to very experienced flippers.

@Steven Rubino The Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB) administers the TSP and when we called their line, they aren't much help.

I am glad she got some assistance, but if I was administering the funds I would distribute first to those behind on their rent.

It also has a provision in the same section that a tenant cannot be terminated for nonpayment by the Housing Authority.I am an Investor since 1980 and have been utilizing the IHA Administered Section 8 program since 1985.

@Chris Sukala  Its very doubtful that the tenant will be awarded more rent, they would have to come up with the difference out of pocket (good luck with that).I would check out your local area maximum rental rates for section 8, usually available thru the local HUD office (or whatever housing authority administers the section 8 program).

While it is OK for you in some senses to administer the investments of the IRA, an eviction process is an additional level of involvement and time that should be hired out.
