We could probably sell a few more plans if we did wave that "loan candy" around, but that is not what we are here for.The only reason the 401k loan provision exists is because congress knew folks would not contribute to 401k plans if they did not feel there was a mechanism to pull funds out.If possible, I suggest you operate without the 401k loan if you can.

Think child actors/actresses and such, to my understanding as a course of law, such an agreement would heavily favor the child (the court wouldn't look favorably upon you for mishandling a contract with a minor).There are certainly cases where a minor is emancipated and then able to receive certain benefits a minor wouldn't customarily be entitled to.

If you have a problem with one sub and fire him just change the combo and he's like a kid with his nose pressed against the candy store window  looking in but can't get in.Then if anything gets stolen the onus is on sub as I did my part.Fence also prevents nosy neighbors from walking on job site trying to peer in window to see what's going on.
