You may want to add some gfci outlets in the bath and kitchen even if not required.

I told them it was likely the outlet worked since the dryer turned, so they should check the vent.

Do you have the right gage wire ( electrical outlet ) for it ?

If not that, then either the hose from the dishwasher is collecting drain water from lacking the raised loop, or there's a backup in the sink causing the water to push to the only available outlet.
