Richmond is a great place, but has many traps for out-of-town investors.

The biggest problem with tax liens/certificates being readily available online from various states, is you need to learn the laws, rules, strategies and traps for each jurisdiction.  

I think there is significantly less risk in Section 8 because no matter what, the government is sending you a check every month. 

Good Day everybody, I was curious if there was any investors that specialize in section 8 housing on here and even bonus points if they do it in Jacksonville, I had a few questions as I try to expand my education on how that process works

I just recently moved to Florida and  Maryland and am very interested in section 8 rental properties any info would be greatly appreciated...

In our area, we found that there was less turnover in Section 8 than similar properties, at nearly the same rent levels.

I just want to get from under this money trap.  

Btw, someone just told me the whole Leavenworth theme town was an economic scheme by the city about 30 years ago to copy Solvang, CA to turn it into a tourist trap, because the logging  economy was failing.. and it worked!
