Sure, if you stuck the same refrigerator in each house, you could allocate, but then if you also put a new toilet in one, new floor in another and a new deck on a third, you would not spread those costs among all the houses.  

It's not far from the beach, close to some new high end outlets, has 3 ocean view decks, and the layout is perfect to accommodate around 14 or so.

But, its got peek-a-boo ocean views from the various rooms and attached decks.

If they are overcharging you for repairs, call them on it, and fire them if they don't correct it.It can be rather difficult to "change a washer" from a lounge chair on the deck of a Cruise Ship in the Mediterranean.

Another investor in the area with the same 2 units is renting out for $1250 each but they have been remodeled.Main things that need get remolded are 1. patio deck needs new roof and floor boards.
