The other challenge is media bias, which is against landlords, investors, businesses or anyone with money or power. 

But for a person to single out wholesalers is a bit bias and unjust.Realtors are allowed to advertise via billboards, Zillow, MLS etc..

Maybe I am just biased with my local market, but my state has record low unemployment and help wanted signs everywhere.

I'm bias and I invest in a house hack here in Los Angeles and out of state.If you don't own your personal residence, I would house hack.

Conformation bias at its finest...We can argue the merits/pitfalls of the ordinances as much as you want... there is a lot of it I disagree with........ but the "you got what you asked for" attitude is just plain ignorant

I'm biased probably as I live in DFW area, but I like the growth prospects north of the areas you mention.

I am perhaps biased because my state recognizes the protection of single member LLCs.
