CA suffers from a net outflow migration to the other 49 states.However, more people from the rest of the world move into California each year than Californians move out into the rest of the US.

Here are my thoughts:Mortgages and rent should not be the first go-to if income is suffering.

Real estate will likely suffer, but it will be a delayed impact.

@Stephen Schott I have bought and sold over 4,000 units and roughly $250 million in value, so I understand the philosophy about marketing and being different.You need to be able to attract with a message with "shock and awe" so people remember you.Again I feel I understand the marketing concept.My concern, and someone who has raised millions from investors for my syndicate deals, if my investor saw the video without advance notice or a heads up, they would be holy "bleep bleep bleep", I got millions with this dude and he just sank our ship.In my opinion, I think it is poor taste as people are really suffering right now.My business keeps growing without Grant in my circle of influence and I will keep it that way.

Any death is a terrible death – no one wants to see anyone suffer or die because of an infectious disease.

(the winter ban doesn't apply I think with less than 4 units (confirm this,  i don't remember if its less than 4 or less than or equal 4) Technically the 6 month ban does require the tenant to demonstrate that they actually suffered financial distress due to COVID,  but my understanding (not a lawyer!)
