Being fair or giving some slack on paying rent on time is okay, but this is absurd.

If there is a repayment required it is borrowed money, giving false information to a lender is just fraud folks. 

Everyone thinks it is ok to lock up properties and if it is so good it will just sell itself, that is false.

The "Turn Key" marketing is false when the inspection report shows there is $20k worth of repairs needed.

I don't want the tenant making false claims against me for something they say I said or did.

Unfortunately it's better to err on the side of civil, than it is to make an arrest thinking it's criminal (now you're into false arrest and civil rights violations).

This isn't the forum to go into the absurdities of banks considering corporate income superior to passive income so I won't go there.

They must state how much their rent is and what deposits are being held by the landlord.An estoppel prevents the tenant from falsely claiming later that you owe them money, like security deposits or advance rents.In fact, getting estoppels should be a contingency on your offer.

I have people come to me frequently who were "told" things that are blatantly false.
