I had a few people scream at me and a few threaten to sue me etc.. but I laugh those off because I think there funny.

You have to have at least a few hundred emails, phone numbers or website visitors, but if you do, you can setup remarketing campaigns on facebook and also on Google to carry your message forward online much less expensively than the post cards.

I know what you mean about half human - Buddy understands words and phrases that astonish visitors to our house.

Last year a lady called screaming, I could not get a word in and she hung up without giving me her name or address.

The others gave their cards with one hand and took the visitors card with one hand, put in their pocket, and jumped into a sale pitch.

Although I don't lend long term private money, when I get letters like this it screams newbie-I've-never-done-a-deal-but-am-trying-to-sound-like-I-have.

Attend more than one as they usually will let you be a visitor or guest to a meeting for free and it will give you an opportunity to see how different groups hold meetings and events.
