I recall the resort I went to as a kid in Tomahawk called Spittin' John's, a group of eight little summer-only cottages on Lake Tomahawk, Wisconsin.  

Close access to lakes, ski resorts, casinos, and golf courses.Also areas like The Hideout, Lake Ariel, and Lake Wallenpaupack are worth looking into also.

I operated the same way in insurance and as much as I hated the industry it taught me how to handle jackwagons like this guy - I'm still curious why in the age of public shaming a landlord has not resorted to this.
