@Bob Okenwa@Patrick Kaiser Thanks for the thoughtful replies.Bob, it appears that PHX has dramatically improved it's economic diversity as measured by the Hachman Index (below). 

Paradise Valley is surrounded by the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem of 22 million acres, so you get all the benefits of living near the park, without all the regulations and negatives of park living (no dogs in the park, no mountain bikes, no off road vehicles, and many more regulations).

The bug bit us and we haven't stopped since than :)You will love the diverse community and all the resources.

I’m biased towards Texas but have heard Florida offers many of the same advantages: landlord friendly, steady population/job growth, diverse economies etc.

The shooting happened in one of best neighborhoods of this city, lovely red brick homes, manicured lawns, mature shade oaks and maples, good neighborhood eateries, a diverse place populated by prosperous, tolerant believers of many, many religions.Our police got to the synagogue (this is practically a zero-crime area), strapped on the plates, went in and dragged that piece of leprotic filth out of a place finer than his imagination could ever be.

I am interested in getting a very diverse portfolio, wholesales, flips, and holds.

The plugin software that runs my listings is Diverse Solutions (IDX Provider).

I ended up focusing on San Antonio because of its strong population growth, diverse industries and affordability.
