Ramsey is crazy preaching that.Dave Ramsey has some good points - but he's not the end all be all and for God Sakes - he's not that intelligent - basic fricking math people.  

It's more about being able to speak intelligently in the room with them and being able to understand some basic concepts.

There is a very strong demand and from very, very intelligent investors, for options that allow them to passively invest directly in property.  

If there are banks within a reasonable driving distance, closest small town, then anyone a landlord would choose to rent to should be of reasonable enough intelligence to manage a bank account.

Hi @Christine Swaidan,The harder you emphasize you are getting bids from multiple contractors and hardcore shopping to get the lowest price and quality, the less time any reasonably intelligent person should expect any reasonably intelligent contractor to put into any particular bid.A family member of mine is a high service, high quality GC, always available via cell.
