My dilemma is whether I use my VA loan for the multi family which will turn into an investment property after I change duty stations in two years or save that VA loan for my personal residence once I establish more permanent roots upon competition of my service.

My course of action would be to purchase a multi family using my VA, live in one of the units until I move duty stations (about 2 years) , then keep it as an investment property.

the main drain clog , filter clog , solid hole full, lift station pump broke . any of these issue will cause the back up.

I am currently stationed at Lackland AFB in San Antonio and plan on investing in buy and hold investing anywhere from San Antonio to Austin, being deployed I have found a few like minded people who also want to get into investing and we have discussed everything from finding deals to funding them to forming LLC's as a safety net, but the first question that always comes up is where to start when we get back.
