Any advice you would give to someone first starting out?

I’m starting a wholesaling company based in Wyoming and interested in operating in Texas and Florida as a start.

Former Marine that started investing while he was still on active duty.

If we do a Self Storage development we expect a 400% COC return.  

Our primary objective as coaches is to help clients ask the right questions, develop the right criteria, and identify potential red flags. 

However, i recommend newbies start in or close to their home market.  

Currently have a great job but want to start acquiring  2-4 unit complexes.

:)General question here: I invest in long term rentals in Memphis, but I live out-of-state in NYC, so I was wondering if anyone had any general advice about starting an LLC in my situation.Would you form the LLC in Tennessee or would you recommend forming the LLC elsewhere?

Focus on absentee owners and start with the ones who live the farthest away and only own one property in the area since they have the least use for the property.You can also drive for dollars, looking for anomalies of disrepair and then look them up in the tax records and use a site like Spokeo to do cheap skip tracing.
