I think we've had a spiral going on (high property prices drive high rents which drive high property prices), with a good economy but limited new housing coming onto the market. 

I see this as the start of huge, slow moving downward spiral, pinwheeling slowly to disaster.   

Things spiraled out of control because I was using bad help - maintenance ppl in the area who were trying to get over on me, bad management companies, lack of thorough tenant screening.

Either wages need to rise astronomically, which data suggests it’s falling ….or asset prices need to fall….or the fed needs to go back to rate cuts and risk inflation spiraling out of control to keep asset prices elevated long term.  

Any rate cut risks inflation spiraling back up and the fed knows that if this happens they lose all credibility and then we are stuck with high inflation for the foreseeable future. 

Boeing is experiencing ( Death Spiral Financing), wasted billions on stock buybacks and begging the Government to be bailed out.   

College tuition seems to spiral upward quicker than health care.  

This is great- it's definitely easy to get stuck in a spiral in this industry.

Wish I knew "Preservation of Capital" when the market was in a death spiral.

You don't want to get trapped in a debt spiral borrowing money to pay for more borrowed money.
