but I suspect homesites will drive the best values.. no one wants logged over sites for building ( generally speaking)  it works here in the Northwest because of the incredible shortage of buildable land. but in other areas not so much

Just make sure everyone understands that they will be on the site for anyone to see.And no minors.

Since you mentioned a construction site injury in your initial post, the best way to proactively avoid premises liability claims is by keeping a clean worksite.

You can also sell them on sites like paperstac, debexpert or others as well as brokers like Mission Capital, Rams or Phoenix.Depending on quality of paper and interest rate will determine sales price - also I would say self servicing can have a negative impact on the sales price as the major players in the space are not fond of self servicing. 

I think tracking productivity will be tough unless you have someone on site that is checking their work at the end of the day and documenting their progress. 

Thanks Don, that is both enlightening, and created new questions as I have 2 potential deals that could be classified as commercial, both are airbnb portfolios, with one being 3 singe family units, and the other being a single site with multiple units (11 units,themed resort style).

Yes many places taken but not all land is developed , still many plots left passed Rosa nearing the lagoon and on the street on opposite site of beach.
