The effect of this process is that the portfolio is constantly improving by retaining the best properties and jetison the under performers.I've bought and sold over 1,000 properties, and people always ask me "How many doors?" 

I used the equity from my house hacks to expand my portfolio out of state. 

Among them are people who live off their rental portfolios.

I would have answer to the questions then with those answer, I would ask, can you find a better deal (equity, cash flow, appreciation potential etc.) that better fits your portfolio and is it worth the extra time?

I currently own a 4-unit in Allentown which has done quite well for me and looking to expand my portfolio throughout LVH.

I found Stessa and Digb to be the best options for organizing real estate portfolio and taxes, cheaper, and real estate focused.   

I’ve consulted several different people and they have told me in my situation as an investor expanding their portfolio it makes more sense to keep the extra cash as opposed to paying down rentals.

I would like to start generating some passive-income and start with some residential properties in my initial portfolio.   

It's hard to get millions of people to agree on anything, but it is a very tried and true way to conservatively grow a portfolio.
