With their established networks and resources, they can resolve issues more efficiently and with less stress for the property owner.However, if you have the time and availability to oversee daily operations full-time or nearly full-time, self-management may be the better choice for starting out.

Meet people and network with them.

You should make one trip to the area for 3 days and network in person.

We have a bit of a word-of-mouth network of tenants (residency/fellowship physician community), which is how we got the first two. 

If that leads to a more structured and education based meeting, then that is great - if it remains just a place to gather and bounce ideas and network, that's great too.

I was talking to a lawyer friend of mine who was involved in a lawsuit where a guy was letting his friend try out his Tesla in “launch mode” in a residential neighborhood.  

Finding the Right Deal:Investors often rely on off-market deals (not listed publicly) or network connections.

I am interested in networking and meeting like minded people locally.

Again, my issue is… I have built a ton of equity in a property that currently has few options for accessing the equity and that bothers me because I am still in growth mode and I realize the potential that that equity has for me and my business here in the states.
