Hello everyone I have a question regarding the best way to transfer property within a family so the the previous family member gets proceeds for transitioning to a senior citizen community.

May I ask if you were able to sort out the lender who honour BRRR for non US resident and non US citizen investor (I am from Australia)Thanks in advance  

If he is a UK citizen, would a 1031 exchange help him. 

Non US citizens have meager institutional options when seeking to finance investment real estate here in the US.Which leads me to wonder why more foreign investors don't actively seek out (or seek to create) deals financed by the seller.

It is somewhat easy for US citizens to get bank loans on the 80% of the price, but very hard to cover the additional 20% that the banks won't.

IN Oregon Multnomah county has a tax but its a small income tax for all citizens.. not tagged to property.. and of course out our way we do not differentiate between owner occ and invesetor.. same tax for all.
