There is a huge group of investors in this community that will help guide you throughout the process.

I learned a lot through the closing process and also as an actual landlord having to deal with issues.

But, as my wife and I have done this over the past 5 years, we have found it moves less and less each time, and that we are essentially living the life we envisioned 5 years ago when we started this process. 

They are doing their underwriting process.

I intend to continue to scale a bit in this area, but eventually I'd like to either sell or hire someone to manage everything.

I like the notion of protecting peoples privacy to process.

So I can hire a PM company to just do the tenant placement part? 

Her and her husband are getting older so they hired us to manage. 

This started my thought process that maybe I should sell. 

Inevitably there will be some "friction points" that you'll have to discuss/mediate, but ultimately if they are not willing to adopt a majority/all of your processes, then I think you mutually set up a date that works for them to move. e.g. 60 days, 90 days, etc...
