I am one of those guys that skipped the partner piece because I do not trust them (them being anyone), so my opinion might be biased but... to me giving up over half the equity seems insane!  

Do not leave anything to your own personal bias (intended or not).

I do think newbies focus on day 1 paper cash flow and not enough on exit strategies, ways to add value and increase income, property management, and tenant quality.Back when I joined BP about 5 years ago, there didn't seem to be many people with West Coast properties and there was a pretty big bias towards turnkey investments.  

I just aksk that realtors refrain from answering, because they tend to be biased.

Now that latter group (personal opinion) is a little biased because of the last 7-8 year worth of appreciation.

@Scott Wilson I couldn't agree more on the schools (I'm biased since my wife teaches in Dripping Springs) but the problem is affordability.  

Canadians have a strong bias towards using Realtors and banks and generally don't know about the alternatives, so as a wholesaler there's not only the privacy issues, but a basic trust issue when asking a stranger to sell me their house.So Tiago, you suggest driving for dollars and just straight up knocking on those doors?

It is 2017, and nobody even thinks gender roles.
