@Courtney Duong you could try and get more upfront rent from him, or a fat deposit, if you can.

The way I see it, we probably won't see any income coming in on any of the units till possibly Aug-September and by then we'll have burned thru all reserves and roll right into tax season and be facing fat tax bills due.

In the case of NYC, the entire goal of Cuomo, de Blasio and company has been to destroy the small business and small property owner class in order to hand it over to their fat cat developer donors and buddies.

Can you put the real estate taxes on your schedule A while the property is undergoing renovations, before the property is placed in-service?

I certainly don't agree with a Landlord change their fee structure during a disaster so they can continue keeping their wallet fat while their client suffers.
