Universities are largely money vacuums (hence the explosion of worthless and easy majors) so it makes complete sense that the school would work with the local government to driveup the cost of private housing.I'm so glad I've never made an alumni donation to that school.BTW around 1993 a book store opened up next to the school offering cheaper textbooks and higher resale values.

They are seeing similar markets to Frisco and McKinney where they have had massive explosions of growth over the last 5-10 years. 

I think they've genuinely struggled with the explosion of growth caused by the economy. 

Heck, even Grant Cardone is constantly fundraising and he is supposedly worth ~$1 billion.I've very rarely taken on partners over my 10 years in this business, and that has no doubt held me back from explosive growth.

It seems like the next evolutionary process with the explosion of the internet and networking which would lead to some significant advantages.
