I've had to repaint the rooms with oil based paint to help kill the smell.Overall the house is in good condition, but lots of detailed worked needed.Thanks again everyone for your input on this.

I would upgrade a slummy looking kitchen or bath with builder grade materials or do tweaks to something old looking but in good condition (refinish a pink cast iron tub, use oil based paint to cover dated bath tile in good condition, paint good condition cabinets white and add new counters)

We installed a water well, fencing, a compacted house pad, and built an $80k barn/workshop.Before we could start the house, I got laid off (oil & gas) and we converted about 1,000sf of the barn to living space.
