So its a combination of increasing costs and relatively flat rents that puts too much of a squeeze on cap rates.Still a lovely place to visit or to live....but maybe not to invest in my opinion

If it's a rehab, I'd make sure I made a visit or 2 along the way. 

I'll add that Airbnb, as you asked, is a great option, especially if you're in a location that visitors want to be.

The log book looks like the last visitors were in November.

Maybe being by the airport might be tough for short term rentals, as far as being a desirable location for visitors.  

But if somebody comes to visit or for too long my house it begins to irritate me.

Older building renovated into new upscale apartments and townhouses.Have a visit or talk with a local realtor.

I know in Nashville our visitors safety is paramount.Even a small uptick in visitor crime is a bad thing.Guess we will have to wait and see!

The country where the visitor lives full time, the age group, families vs couples vs singles all shift the sensitivities. 

Do I skip trace and send them mail, call, visit or all the above?
