There are plenty of entry roles from cold calling, scrubbing data and find deals for investors, leasing assistant, work on construction sites, office admin, project coordinator, Title assistant, RE photographer, transaction coordinator.. on and on. 

But I noted that places like North Tonawanda as @Pravit Jarriyapurttipong mentioned are actually outside of Erie County, it's in Niagara County, which follows the stricter landlord laws as New York State... https://ag.ny.gov/sites/default/files/changes-in-nys-rent-la...Would you recommend sticking to Erie County boundaries for this purpose?

@Drew Sygit @Gregory Schwartz From this HUD map it is 17 States/DC, and another site says 22 States which may reflect some more recent updates.

@Sue Duvall I suggest you go to a site for the residential assisted living academy in Phoenix.

Many of the OTAs and lead gen sites, like Furnished Finder, are pushing credit card payments. 99.9% of the time I get a message from FF saying 'your tenant would prefer to pay by credit card so activate Stripe now!' 

Sometimes things are left on the work site and local hoodlums sneak in and take them.

But just hating on wholesaling in a wholesaling forum is so unbelievably pointless. its not dead per se  but it is starting to be regulated as it should.. oregon just passed their version. where to wholesale you now need a license and over site by the RE commission.. along with criminal back ground and a BOND.. and as we know not everyone can pass either of those with the bond being the tough one if you have bad credit your not getting a bond.
