My policy is to only build in Mexico if I'm there most if not all of the time and that, in spite of the fact that I have people on the ground that I trust.

However the one underwriter I worked with thus far insisted on counting 0.5% of the loan balance per month against my income in spite of having assurance from my loan processer and this is in no way reflective of the reality of my loan situation. 

My hope is that owning assets remains in spite of basic fundamental shifts. 

A lady I was prospecting was complaining that she was being evicted at the end of her month to month lease in spite of the fact she had been paying rent--the landlord has dollar signs in his eyes and wants to sell high. 

Maybe more sensible than putting property in ex-spouse's name (yes I know someone who put at least $6M in ex-spouse's name - and it worked out well - in spite of what it sounds like.

I have proof of income from our other Short Term rentals for 2020 all of which thrived in spite of Covid. 

Inspite what people say about not growing Cleveland has experiences increase in prices for the several years and it's hard to find a good investment there...  

The secret is hard work, self-discipline, courage, acting in spite of fear, never ending learning, growth, and constantly striving to achieve your investment goals... and therefore life goals.
