I hear they've turned some of the old factories and warehouses into condos and offices and cleaned up the park along the canal.There use to be some rough spots (by the old silos) when I lived in MTL ... but that was a long time ago (before your time).

I definitely agree that the cashflow should be the overriding factor, I was more or less giving you an out if after breaking down all other factors you were still unsure.  

The factory is on the west side and there is plenty of employment opportunity on that side of the city.
