In the neighborhood with the “Not for sale” signs that I had in mind with my comment, there are a lot of 100 year-old working class craftsman bungalows that are now squeezed in between fancy new 3 unit condo buildings that loom over them, so many people feel literally squeezed out by investors.

The kitchen has a few interesting issues... and they seem to be the difference between attracting a B tenant vs. an A tenant from what we've seen so far.1) the previous owner fancied himself a craftsman and "refinished" the cabinets.

I hope to someday get to do a 20s historic/craftsman style home, I LOVE them. 

@Anthony Wick some of those war zone properties photograph very well, gothic Victorians and well built craftsman’s.

I know Savannah very well and many contractors and other craftsman.

However, if it would make me a "10" Satisfied to custom lay shower tile in a unique pattern but my time, the value of the pattern compared to me working doing research at the courthouse or going to an auction while a skilled craftsman who has the tools, skills & follows the pattern I want isn't worth it - it isn't worth it.   

It is just a carefully planned process.Bought a 2 bed 1 bath layout in Leimert Park (average price point as of Jan 2023 is $1M), remodeled the existing 1924 craftsman bungalow plus added a 3/4 bathroom/HVAC/200amp panel.

Bought a 1930 concrete craftsman bungalow in Saxapahaw, NC for 26k.

I'm renovating a 1930 Craftsman bungalow(BRRR) with a ARV of 200k, about 15 miles from Chapel Hill , NC(1.1acre).
