These are grain bins which are much wider and used for holding fully dried grain storage.They are available as kits.

Also make sure to build on a property located in a desirable location with larger pop density and if holding for rentals, charge median rent for that market as lenders want to see a bigger pool of buyers/renters available to occupy/sell. 

There is a small park about a mile from the property, so I know the infrastructure (water, electricity, sewer, trash) is available for a build.

Today it's easier to get information on neighborhoods, but back then it wasn't so readily available.
