I am in college rentals currently and have been lucky to have a connection to the athletic department where athletes come to me for off campus housing.

I work at NC State University as a Major Gifts Officer for Athletics and absolutely love my job, but I love the idea of retiring in my 50s with my toes in the sand on a beach somewhere and taking in passive income through rentals while doing it!

Lastly, treat it like a professional athlete would treat a sport.

Athletics: Temple is a Division 1 school, and as such I'd assume they do a fair amount of recruiting for their athletics program.

,doctors,dentists, athletes, business owners, executives,and charitable foundations hire management companies to run their RE investments.You don t have to share profits with a management company.

If you going the smaller route, look up Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.

., lawyer, investor with a few deals under their belt (but not that many), professional athlete etc. and while I'm sure they are smart and successful in their core competence, that doesn't automatically translate into a real estate transaction. 

They help athletes find rentals.
