I'm up early today to finish sanding the frames, sand the cabinet base, set up the blue tape, and paint the first coat on the trim and cabinet base, and do the second coat on the cabinet doors :) Once the trim and cabinets are dry I'm going to do the second coat, It's gonna look so different when it's done!

If it's heavy texture be prepared to answer questions about water damage as if you were covering up stains.If it were summer, I'd trim the box hedge lower and put some colorful flowers on the porch.

What we did was just wiped down the wood cabinets, trim and doors, sprayed them with lacquer, primed and painted the walls and either cleaned or replaced the light fixtures.

I would try to recess it slightly into the wall so it rests flat on the floor and leaves no gap where it meets the wall.If that's not an option you may have to trim the bottom or side edges so they match whatever angle you actually have.
