@Clementene Taylor I am an asset protection attorney. if you are series about setting up an real estate investing business for the long hall that will generate passive income, then treat it like a business and incorporate it correctly from the very begging like a real business BEFORE you close.

Most companies I have sued that used legal zoom had the worst, incomplete and wrong incorporating generic documents they were not worth the paper printed on.

For those services, you are better off reaching out to an attorney directly, as membership in these services often do not cover having an attorney draft these documents for you.A good legal protection plan probably should incorporate both strategies; a local attorney and a membership in one of these services.

Now that my wife is a realtor (licensed last month), we may put her realty business and our rentals together and incorporate, but even still, she has coverage for malpractice through her broker, Keller Williams.

i too began looking at real estate back around 2011. and as@Chris Milan mentioned i was lured in by a a great salesman i saw on tv. the great thing is being as stubborn as i was back then. i decided to post pone my entry and become a Realtor so that i could  know the in and outs of the business by the legal side of things as a real estate agent. so yes they aren't kidding when they say not all Real Estate Agents are the same.but i digress i learned the hard way how muddy it is on that side of the business. but because of this i hesitated. then became active communicating with others in the business and i incorporated my LLC last year.  

This is great for penetrating into clothing fibers and getting rid of dirt, but on roofs it can disrupt the way that water naturally flows and can allow water to go into places it normally would not.
