I feel yonkers would be the market i would know the most about as far as rental pricing, good or bad neighborhoods to invest, jobs in the city etc... becuase i was raised there and see the development thats going on.

I've saved a lot of cash by doing it myself over the years, but often, at the end of the day, what I saved was less than the rent income or carrying costs I incurred.I still have rentals in Madison county (Harvest-Toney- HSV Sec. 8) so feel free to keep me posted on how your new project develops

Flipping houses and owning a painting business can actually complement each other very well, in terms of cross-selling services, developing connections, and new opportunities among other things.I guess my point is, before leaving an existing venture, make sure you have formally done your diligence via a business model, business plan, marketing strategy, etc.
