Price yours accordingly.If you can get enough on a sale to cover the costs and the loans, get rid of this albatross as soon as you can.If you have to make up some difference, and are able to do it, you best chance at a speedy and complete resolution to the situation might be to bring money to the closing table to make your problem go away.If the possible sales prices is going to be below the loan amount, your best bet might be a short sale.

When i had 3 "reputable" contractors come do estimates on the foundation work, i got prices ranging from 20k to 70k (this property is worth around 40k) after which i contacted a structural engineer who basically disputed everything all of them said. any advice or personal experiences with this greatly appreciated!
