Unless you are worth it on their books (i.e. a lot of money) they have no reason to deviate from their process and I can assure you its not typical to sell performing notes at a discount back to the person on the hook for it.

I assured him I would be transparent and act in good faith throughout the process, but I'm reluctant to disclose the full amount I'm pre-qualified for before we move towards any potential negotiations because I believe that would jeopardize my ability to negotiate a great deal as opposed to a good deal.

Account Closed- thanks and  great plan ....If you will need  financing - I would suggest  you get fully  pre approved  so that  you can  1) get  organized  2) be assured you can  get a loan  3)  become familair with the process and all the current numbers  ( rates / fees / payments / cash for closing  etc...) ...good luck

Although they "say" they want to "take the hot tub with them when they leave" they will most assuredly skimp on the deinstallation and removal fees associated with a quality job that's needed for the foundation, etc.Tell them your business partner doesn't want a hot tub in there, your wife doesn't want it in there, your insurance company said they would increase your rates because of extra liability, something but just say no.

This would be tied to your owner’s title policy, which any credible lender would also insist you obtain.Rest assured, once you pay their fees and provide your personal info, which also has value, you will never hear from these scoundrels instead.

If this is the same coverage I have seen before, they aren’t selling a policy, they are selling a certificate giving you rights to a portion of their block of coverage.I suggest you speak with the managing agent of the policy about this and get any assurances to the contrary in writing.I'll let you know when I have a response from them.
