Sell them off and be done with it......worst case you buy another used set when the tenants take theirs with them at move out.....Your net of selling them and then buying another used set is likely going to be a wash or only slightly negative.....and you didn't deal with hassle of storing them or crossing your fingers that they still work in a couple of years when you hook them back up
