In PA, a tax sale is an Upset Sale, and that is not a Judicial Sale, it is a non-Judicial Sale.And of course the procedures are entirely different for an "Upset Sale" and a "Judicial Sale".IF the sale you're talking about is a Judicial Sale and not an Upset Sale, and IF the bank has received notice of the sale and has failed to act; then the mortgage would be wiped out.

i agree with @matthew paul, there is no way to predict any of this, and one of the worst regrets suffered is that of lost opportunities, you can hear it if you talk to any senior citizen about investments, rarely do they tell you about their victories, most of the time they will tell you about the one that got away, and so it is with life.
