Thanks but what about applications that I have received and rejected even before they made it to the credit/background check?  

Based on his credit history I would probably reject. 

If rejection, rinse and repeat for next week.

I would use the trans union and determine, based on my standards, that he does not qualify and reject him without wasting any further time on this applicant.Or tell him you are still accepting applications and will let him know.

I got about half-way through the initial application before I was automatically rejected due to the deal being in too small of a town.
